Our Course Instructors

Terri Vest

Adjunct Instructor

Terri is the Dean of Students for VTVLC. Her work includes supporting student learning by working with students, teachers, parents, counselors and other school support personnel. She works on academic issues relating to student progress, alternative pacing charts, and unique challenges that online learners face. His goal is to minimize barriers and to increase student learning opportunities and successes. Terri is National Board certified.

Julie Parah

Adjunct Instructor

Julie started teaching Mathematics at Green Mountain Union High School in Chester, VT in 2006, and at VTVLC in 2011.  Julie holds an MSE in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and transitioned to teaching after spending 20 years in the telecommunications industry.  She earned her Vermont teaching license and 7-12 Math Endorsement through the Peer Review process.  At GM Julie’s teaching assignments have ranged from Middle School Pre-Algebra through AP Calculus; for VTVLC she teaches both Algebra I and Algebra II.  Julie has been a leader at her school in the move toward Proficiency-Based Education as well as the use of technology and blended learning to improve teacher practice and student learning.

Margaret Cintorino

Adjunct Instructor

Margaret is an Educational Technology Specialist, a teacher of English, and has earned her Online Teaching Specialist endorsement while teaching with VTVLC. She currently teaches at Hartford High School.

Jessica Leo

Adjunct Instructor

Jessica Leo received a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics and Nutritional Sciences and a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from The University of Vermont. She has been teaching at Enosburg Falls Middle and High School since 2002. She currently teaches Health Education and Child Development at EFHS as well as Life Management Skills and Online Teaching Tools & Techniques (Methods II) for VTVLC. She lives in Georgia, VT with her husband and two young boys.
